Ella Secret Paradise

Enjoyed the super quiet place with a fine view of the jungle and a small tea plantation. Nalin, our host, was attentive and cute, starting with a refreshing juice on arrival. The breakfast offered an excellent variety of dishes, both Western and Sri Lankan, showcasing fresh ingredients. The Beautiful Double Room was meticulouslyvery comfy and tidy, fitted with all essentials. Walking into town took about 15 minutes, a pleasant journey. One slight downside was the steep driveway. It proved tricky with luggage, especially for anyone with mobility issues. A bit more signage or assistance for carrying bags could enhance the experience.

We recommend this hotel, spent here wonderful 1 night. This venue was quiet little and everything was superb. Location: the hotel was near to the center of Ella as well as less wildlife. The breakfast was delicious and large with a wonderful view and all the food was tasty...

The steep walk to the hotel was a major inconvenience, it's just unacceptable for a supposedly high-end hotel. And don't get me started on the so-called "amazing views". I have seen better from my living room. I woudl have given this place a decent review, but I expected a complimentary upgrade due to the hassle and received nothing.

Delicious, showcasing the best of Sri Lankan cuisine. Every meal reminded me of a personal touch, especially the evening curries. The only issue we faced was some difficulty with connectivity in the room, which fluctuated at times.

The Beautiful Double Room impressively featured a cozy setup and refreshing pot of tea upon arrival. Waking up to nature's soundtrack here gives you the perfect backdrop for a relaxed getaway.

Getting to the hotel involves a short, steep, rocky walk after the Tuk Tuk drops you off, which might be tough for some guests-especially if you're hauling luggage. Spotty connectivity in the room can intermittently lag, affecting your ability to stay connected. The area is far from the hustle of the city center, good for peace, but might feel isolating to some.

The steep walk to the hotel is a concern. It was quite challenging for my companion, who had mobility issues. The road is rocky, and our Tuk Tuk could only get us partway, necessitating a difficult descent with luggage.

I loved the tranquility of this place, surrounded by nature with only two rooms. The Beautiful Double Room was super clean, with a comfortable bed and a lovely pot of tea awaiting us. Breakfast was excellent with a choice between Sri Lankan and Western options that filled us up each morning!

The setting is a tranquil oasis surrounded by tea plantations. The personal touch from the host, particularly the delicious homemade curries and the engaging cooking classes. Breakfast views were amazing with every bite.

I loved waking up to the sounds of nature and having the best curry I've ever tasted for dinner. There are cozy hammocks for lounging and a lovely garden to enjoy some quiet time. The only downside was the distance from the city center, but that just made it feel more peaceful. Don't miss the cooking classes! 🌿
